A highly sophisticated yet easy to use digital control panel is coupled to a variety of advanced sensors to automate the operation of a fogging system according to your site conditions and your odor control requirements.
An easy to use user interface will allow you set the system to operate only when specific environmental conditions have been met. This means the fogging system will run when you need it to – keeping you out of trouble and just as important, shut the system down when it isn’t needed, saving you money.
The Piian Digital Environmental Controller can be adjusted through a wide variety of parameters making it equally effective in a wide range of settings.
Major Cost Saving Features
Wind Direction Activation - The controller can be set to activate the system only when the wind blows in a specific direction. The controller can also be set to operate or remain idle during static conditions.
Wind Speed Override - On windy days, the controller will shut the system down and restart the system when wind conditions return to normal.
24 Hour & Repeat Cycle Timing The controller can be set to operate at specific times of the day and week. The timing function can be set to override all other functions.
Freeze Protection - If the temperature drops close to freezing, the controller will stop and air purge the fog system. It will automatically restart when the temperature rises.
Humidity Measurement - In dust suppression environments, the controller will run the fogging system until a target humidity / moisture content has been satisfied.
Temperature Sensing - The system can be set to activate within a specified temperature range.
Smart Pressure Switch Monitoring - The controller monitors the inlet water pressure (switch) to the fogging system; it will ignore momentary fluctuations in the pressure switch avoiding potential damage to the pump. Under a low water pressure condition, the controller will attempt to restart the pump 3 times before sounding an audible alarm.
Pump Oil Life Monitoring - The controller will monitor accumulated run time on the pump module and illuminate a service light at a preset time.
Air Purge Control - The controller can be set to air purge the fogging system automatically with every pump shut down. This prevents frost damage and reduces nozzle servicing significantly.
Status LEDs with Audible Alarm - The controller can be set to illuminate a service light, sound an alarm or shut the pump module down according to your requirements. An output is available to send a signal to a control room.
Neutralizer Tank Level Monitor - The controller will monitor odor neutralizer liquid levels and either shut the system down if empty or signal an alarm.
Data Logging Option - An optional configuration is available to record and log all environmental data to provide historical operation records.
